Importing Candidates
How to bulk import candidates into Arc via CSV or automated sourcing.
CSV Import
You can import candidates in bulk by exporting a CSV from your existing ATS or spreadsheet and uploading it to Arc.

Steps
- Go to Sourcing → Candidates
- Click Import
- Upload your CSV file
- Map columns if the headers differ from Arc's expected format
- Confirm the import — candidates are added immediately
Duplicate candidates (matched by email) are skipped.
Automated Sourcing
For ongoing discovery without manual imports, use Sourcing Configs under Sourcing → Sourcing Hub.
A sourcing config runs continuously, finding candidates that match your criteria (job title, location, skills, company) and adding them to your pipeline automatically.
Profile Enrichment
After import, Arc can enrich each candidate's profile with additional data from public sources:
- Extended professional history
- Social profiles
- Contact data verification
To enrich a candidate, open their row in the candidates list, click the ⋮ menu, and select Enrich Profile. For bulk enrichment, select multiple rows and use the bulk action toolbar.
Enrichment runs as a background job — results appear on the candidate profile within a few minutes.
Exporting Candidates
From the Candidates list, you can export your current view to CSV or Excel:
- Apply any filters you want (stage, tags, date range)
- Click Export in the toolbar
- Select Export to CSV or Export to Excel
To export a subset, select specific rows first and choose Export Selected.
Candidate Profile Images
Arc uses the candidate's profile image from their sourced origin (e.g. LinkedIn) where available. If no image is available, an initials-based avatar is generated automatically. Arc does not use external avatar placeholder services.
